Extra credit may be given throughout the semester for attending plays, cultural events, and the like.
Attend Curse of the Starving Class at the Acrosstown Repertory
Theatre.
It opens March 22 and plays Thursdays through Saturdays (8PM curtain)
through April 21.
By the second week of March, tickets ($5 for students - so bring your
student ID) will be on sale at Omni Bookstore (Westgate Shopping Center)
and Book Gallery West (MIllhopper Shopping Center). The tickets will
also be on sale at the theatre (619 South Main Street) on performance
nights.
Then write a short plot summary of the play and email or turn it in
to me.
This is worth 2 journals.
Watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and write a journal entry - this 1 journal will count as 3. It is currently playing at the Butler Plaza Movie Theater.
Write a journal on Elie Wiesel's lecture, which is Tuesday, March
27 at 8pm in the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Counts as 3 journals.
