Quiz 2

Answer each True or False - none of these are tricky. For instance, I will never quiz on the difference between can and may or use a detail to try and confuse anyone: in #4, Jorge Luis Borges did write the story, the question is whether or not the story is a print precursor. Also, if you find some tricky element in the question, ask me DURING the quiz so I can clarify because that's not my intention.

1. Most hypertext fictions have multiple beginning and ending places.

2. Andy Lippman's definition of interactivity includes interruptibility and limited look-ahead. With this definition, conversation is definitely interactive.

3. In Storyspace, defaults are links that represent the action taken when readers choose to explore what may "come next," instead of choosing named paths to other segments connected by words in the text.

4. The Garden of Forking Paths by Jorge Luis Borges is a print precursor to hypertext fiction because of the story it tells, but not it's own structure because it is a print work.
