Creating Electronic Portfolios

Items to include
-Cover Letter 
-Resume
-Letters of Recommendation
-Transcripts and/or professional certifications
-Reports, papers, websites, slides, and any other perinent materials
 made for work or school

Guidelines
-Analyze your audience and purpose
-Gather your materials (including a color scheme and images)
-Organize the materials for display
-Write introductory statements for each major item in the portfolio and
for the entire portfolio
-Prepare the materials for print and web display (PDF and HTML)
-Review and Revise writing, navigation, and layout
-Put it online and make a backup on CD
-Plan for the future:
Do you plan on switching jobs soon? Would it be beneficial for you
to have a website that you can keep--freesites, cheap sites?
