Annotated Bibliography Peer Review
- Check to make sure the paper has at least 6 references with
annotations.
- Check each citation against the author's chosen citation method
(APA, MLA, whatever) and correct it wherever it's wrong.
- As you do the following, mark any sentences or words that you
think could be confusing for an average reader (even if it isn't
confusing to you--state what could seem confusing for others).
- Check the first sentence of each summary to make sure it mentions
the author or title of the article and to make sure it states
the article's main point.
- Check to make sure each of the following sentences supports or
critiques the claim in the first sentence.
- Check for active voice.
- Do an overall grammar/voice check and mark any comments for
improvement.
