- Turn key elements of a principle into questions
- Develop an overall outline, and then a paragraph by paragraph
logic of your paper
- Draft and revise your analysis: are your facts accurate, are your
opinions supported by evidence, are dissenting views presented, is the
presebtation logical, are the key terms identified and defined, are
the assumptions clearly stated?
- Write an analysis, not a summary
- Answer the "so what" question
- Attribute sources appropriately
