Coding the Body: Computer Code, Skins, Fashion, and Digital Writing
Class Rationale
In this class, we will examine the relationship standardization, or the appearance of standardization, through clothing sizing and HTML markup codes. We will begin with a history of HTML with SGML along with a history of fashion and how fashion has controlled and coded the body.
