  4. I really like the way the class was structured, it was made to allow students to stay up to date with the class without overwhelming amounts of work.

  1. She is very kind and respects everyone in the classroom. She is always able to sit and amend papers and grades with students.
  2. It's not her fault that the subject matter is awefully boring. Tough to teach an English course to hungover freshmen at 8:30 in the morning.
  3. Wasn't too bad. Writing was simple and well articulated to us.
  4. Awesome teacher. Terrible material. Laurie Taylor needs to have a class that teachs on interpretation, much like her new class next semester sounds.

  1. She is fun to be around in the morning by being very awake and always trying to get the students involved. She also gives great suggestions that really make a difference.

  1. Extreme enthusiasm. It was always good to be met with happiness when I had to come to such an early class. She tried using examples that appealed to everyone, which was thoughtful as well.
  2. The course was great; good workload, good teaching, good sized class.
  3. Letting everyone use computers in class was nice, but at the same time, distracted from the subject at hand a little. Other than that, good luck to Laurie teaching her new class next semester!

  3. This course, thanks to Laurie, didn't turn out so bad. I had numerous people tell me not to take this class but now Im glad I did. We didn't have much printed material
  4. I never had a instructor with Laurie's teaching style at first I was kinda surpirsed that she was the way she was but now I appreciate it and I like her not only as a teacher but also as a person. She singlehandedly made this class a much better experience than any of my other writing classes

  2. I think the only bad thing about this class was that it was so early and she was often unable to get student involvement.
  3. I thought this class was very helpful and will be beneficial in many other classes. The Penguin Handbook will be one book I don't sell back.
  4. Pretty good class overall!
