Wikipedia Article (Due Feb 22)

Instructions: For your first major assignment, investigate important information for accountants. Then, research those topics on Wikipedia. What topics aren't covered on Wikipedia that need to be? Or, what topics aren't covered thoroughly enough on Wikipedia? Then, you'll write one of them that should be 300-900words according to the Wikipedia NPOV (Neutral Point of View) style.

You may approach this task in a variety of ways, but following is a recommended procedure:

• Search Wikipedia for terms, names, items you're familiar with.
• Choose which item(s) to write. You can choose 1 article or several and split the word count across them.
• Write that item(s), including links to other resources.
• Write this in a word processor, email me with the writing, and either post it to Wikipedia or I'll post it later.

Assessment: Your grade on this assignment derives from the effectiveness of your writing, the thoroughness of your entry, and the NPOV of your writing.
